This material will get that gorgeous vintage look from wearing and using it. It can be washed with cold water (don't use hot as it will melt the wax). If you at any point would like to restore the wax into the creases, you can lay a cloth over it and iron on a low setting to gently melt the wax and encourage it to seep back into the grooves
